Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, Lux is a classically trained violinist turned screenwriter, production designer, editor, and filmmaker whose passion for artistic collaboration extends on and off set. After nearly completing an associate's in biology, Lux earnestly pursued her new passion for video editing by starting over and studying for an additional two years at Northern Virginia Community College for Cinema. As a junior transfer, she was admitted to the University of California, Los Angeles, for their prestigious TFT program and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television.

Lux continues to strive towards her desire to make filmmaking an artistic and safe place to work and grow. One of her highest priorities is including everyone and ensuring people have a voice and presence on set.
